In fact Lake Fiastra offers many activities and beauty to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Together let\u2019s see what this site immersed in nature has to offer and what to do in the area.<\/p>\n<h2>What to do at Lake Fiastra<\/h2>\n<p>\nLake Fiastra is the <strong>largest hydroelectric reservoir in the Marche<\/strong>: a suitable destination for every activity. Anyone who loves relaxing and enjoying the sun can do this at the beach facilities where you can <strong>rent sunchairs and umbrellas<\/strong> and bathe in the clear water of the lake, with its rock bed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sports and hiking<\/strong> enthusiasts will appreciate the adjacent natural reserve and the \u201cSan Lorenzo in Lago\u201d path, which is also for <strong>biking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>From the lake it is also possible to enjoy a cultural moment with a visit to the Chiaravalle Abbey of Fiastra.<\/p>\n<h2>Nearby: the Fiastra Abbey and its Natural Reserve<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe Natural Reserve of the Fiastra Abbey is about 40 km from the lake. It surrounds the monastery from which it takes its name and covers 1824 hectares: a true wealth of biodiversity. It is possible to <strong>hike<\/strong> in the reserve. In fact there are many marked paths to choose from based on skill level.<\/p>\n<p>The natural reserve also has many bike paths\u00a0 and it is also possible to book a horseback ride. There are also many areas reserved to people who choose to stay for a picnic and enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors.<\/p>\n<h2>Visiting the Abbey<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe <strong>Chiaravalle Abbey of Fiastra<\/strong> was founded in 1142 by Cistercian monks from the Chiaravalle Mother Abbey in Milan.
