The second edition of the Queen Trophy, an adventouring tourism event, will take place from May 24 to 26 2019 on the most beautiful dirt roads of Umbria.

The initiative is dedicated to motorcyclists who, by participating, can enjoy the fascinating Umbrian panoramas and the best and most authentic culinary tradition of the region.

Queen Trophy is part of the official FMI calendar and will thrill and entertain 100 riders who will travel through some of the most beautiful and scenic roads of Umbria, across landscapes and historical hamlets. Depending on what itinerary you choose, 70% of the paths will be dirt roads and will cross hills, mountain ridges and river valleys.

The total route is approximately 430 kilometres. The starting point will be Bevagna arriving in Vallo di Nera and then on to Norcia; the second stretch will start from here, heading towards Mevale and finally the last stretch, towards the final destination: an unannounced village which will be the starting point for the 2020 edition, that the participants will only find out on Sunday.
Queen Trophy is not only fun for grownups, there are many initiatives for children as well.

In fact the Moto Club Pepe Bevagna, the organising body of the event, was founded precisely with the aim of getting children on motorbikes, teaching them about two-wheeled motor vehicles.

Since it was established three years ago, MC Pepe Bevagna has succeeded in getting more than 300 boys and girls on motorbikes and who, as they grew up, began partaking in local and national competitions as well.

Queen Trophy is organised according to the official regulations set forth by the “Adventouring” rules, with single and dual cylinder motorbikes weighing no less than 150 kg and, most importantly, non-competitively. The event offers the possibility of participating for the full two days of the event, or signing up for only the Saturday or the Sunday. You can also choose from an “easy” formula – registration and gadget – and a “full” formula which also includes meals and luggage transport.
The 2019 edition of the event is dedicated to the memory of Francesco Colombo, originally from Milan but resident of Bevagna. “Francesco passed away on October 7 2017, but his desire to live, share and travel has stayed with all of us – declares Cesare Pompei, President of the Moto Club Pepe Bevagna – and this is why we chose to dedicate the Queen Trophy 2019 edition to him”.
