Umbria Jazz Festival 53 th edition

Since July 1973, the beautiful town of Perugia has been the stage of Umbria Jazz Festival, one of the most important jazz festivals worldwide.
Over the years has hosted many music legends such as:
Miles Davis, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, James Brown, Santana, Sting, Van Morrison, Elton John, Phil Collins, Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Mika, Diana Krall, Pat Metheny, Diana Krall, Tom Yorke, Gazzè, Britti e Katchhé, Lauryn Hill, King Crimson, Paolo Conte, Gino Paoli, Chick Corea, Richard Bona and many more.
For 10 days and nights, Perugia and its great music, will welcome you with its unique vibe.
The historic center of beautiful Perugia becomes the open-air stage, acquiring a unique atmosphere and charm. Many concerts in the squares, street bands, food & wine stands.
Ten days full of music and colour, with great appointments on the Main Stage, in the theatre and in the jazz venues of the historic centre.
Free concerts from noon to midnight in Piazza Quattro Novembre and in the Carducci Gardens, a very rich program of great concerts.
Ten days of jam sessions and workshops for the childs with UJ4KIDS.
The most important concerts will be held at the Teatro Morlacchi, in the Sala Podiani – Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria and the biggest ones held at the Arena Santa Giuliana on the Main stage.
